Amy Campion, lecturer in English at Washington College, is currently completing her Ph.D. in English with the University of California, Berkeley. Her research interests presently lie in eighteenth- and early nineteenth-century British literature, with a focus on scandal, irony, and representations of the authorial self in Eliza Haywood, Laurence Sterne, Charlotte Smith, and Lord Byron.
