Biographical Note

Richard Gillin has taught at Washington College for more than thirty years, and is the director of the Kiplin Hall Summer Program. His research interests include the Romantic poet John Clare, 19th century poets and novelists, 18th century English literature, and the English-language literatures of post-colonial India and the Caribbean. Gillin will be teaching a course on the 19th Century Novel in the Fall 2007 semester.
