On this day the group visited the birth place of the Bronte sisters. They
then took a walk up to Top Withens, the farm house that is associated with Emily Bronte's novel
Wuthering Heights.

Day 7
Hill Top
Hill Top was the home of Beatrix Potter. She was known for writing
children stories like "Peter Rabbit" and "Tom Kitten." She bought this house with her earnings
from "Peter Rabbit." Many of the illustrations in her proceeding stories pictured different
places around Hill Top.
Greenhead Ghyll
After visiting Hill Top, the group climbed up the mountain near
Greenhead Ghyll and stopped at an unfinished sheep fold. This sheep fold is the place that
Wordsworth talks about in his poem, "Michael: A Pastoral Poem."
