Hellvelyn was another one of the most strenuous hikes that this group
endured. Luckily the weather on this day was much nicer, even though it was a bit hot out.
Striding Edge
Only a few chose to venture across this rocky crag. A group of 8 set off down from Hellvelyn by way
of Swirling edge and transversed in a circle leading them up and over Striding Edge back to the top of
Hellvelyn. It was a hard journey at first, but many of them found that it wasn't as bad as it had
seemed.
